\u2022 The first step is to create a business plan to which you will then receive the panel\u2019s evaluation from the Startup Denmark Secretariat
\n\u2022 The second step is to apply for work and residence permit The third step is to launch your startup in Denmark \u2013 Funding can be applied too
\n\u2022 You must document that you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in Denmark if you apply for a residence permit
\n\u2022 You must play an active part in running the business before you can obtain a residence permit.
\n\u2022 Your presence must be necessary for the establishment of the business.<\/p>\n

If you have only economic or financial interests in the business \u2013 for example, if you are a shareholder \u2013 you cannot be granted a permit based on the Startup Denmark scheme.
\nYou must be able to support yourself. This means you must provide documentary evidence that you have sufficient funds to cover your first year in Denmark. \u00a0If your family is accompanying you to Denmark, you must also provide documentation of your ability to support them.
\nYou must provide documentation that you have (2023 level):<\/p>\n

\n286,656 DKK if your spouse is accompanying you to Denmark,
\n333,816 DKK if your spouse and one or more children are accompanying you to Denmark,
\n190,488 DKK if one or more children, but not your spouse, are accompanying you to Denmark.
\nCrypto Currency (virtual currency) \u2013 e.g. Bitcoins or Stablecoins \u2013 are not accepted as documentation for sufficient funds<\/p>\n
