Don’t get fooled by the nice looking e-residency smart card. You can open a company in 1-2 days (actually, did they not advertise once that it takes only 1 hour?). You can open a company pretty easy in many places of the world. Was can become difficult is opening a bank account for the company. Banks aren’t stupid, they don’t want to have something blow up in their face since they are often very regulated. While there are many dubious banks in the Baltics, it will be very difficult to open a decent bank account with an Estonian company as an e-resident. Don’t underestimate language barriers for accounting etc.
